Please tell me how it not only got under the recliner but not just under the recliner like half way back to the wall.?? I did push the recliner around a bit looking for it..maybe that moved it. I am going to have to glue that thing to my hand. It wouldn't be so bad, but you need two of them to operate the TV. I would seriously pay extra to have a beeping remote. They do it with cordless phones how hard can it be? Where is the craziest place you have ever found a remote?

I never could find the remote when my son and grandson lived with me. I found it in many odd locations. I'm glad it's always where I leave it now, on the tray table next to the recliner. I need four remotes for the TV. One to turn it on. One for Roku, one for the DVD player, and one for cable. Cable comes with the apartment, or I wouldn't have cable. I rarely use it, but it comes in handy for football. The TV antenna doesn't pick up NBC very well, so I watch it on cable or Peacock on the Roku when the cable didn't work a couple of weeks ago. It's fun trying to watch football when the TV gets wonky. Mostly I watch Roku. So, the TV remote to turn it on and Roku for the rest of the day or evening.

I think I'd go bonkers if I had 4 remotes. As you. Can see I can't manage 2. I did put them both in the recliner pocket last night though before I went to bed.

@just4him I have rarely carried it out of the living room area, but was looking other places too yesterday. I even briefly looked in the trash, but that was a total long shot.Thank God UT wasn't there!

@snowy22315 There have been times when I couldn't find the DVD remote and found it by the TV. Duh!

@snowy22315 I am just referring to working remotely in remote areas there.

You can get a remote that beeps. Roku sells one, and I am sure there are other brands out there.

I need one. I never heard of Dish offering one though.

@snowy22315 You might need to invest in a universal remote to get that feature.

It is good if it is always in the same place.

For awhile I was putting them both in the gasp! remote holder. That lasted about 3 days The chair side pockets would probably be a better bet.

@snowy22315 Side pockets are a super idea.

@sallypup Yes, I would be fairly likely to put them there too.

We have a couch with end recliners.
Sometimes the remote for the Apple TV will slip down between the recliner section and the next cushion.
That means that you have to leave the recliner back and have someone come to look towards the underneath of it.
Then they can just reach it.
Apple TV remotes are very small and thin.

They should either beep indicating their location or allow you to call it like you can with a phone.

My mother had lost the remote one time. I panicked because we only have one remote to the Roku tv. I found out you can use your phone as a remote so I downloaded the app then I found it. It was stuck in the couch. But my mother has lost not the remote, but her key fob again. I didn't find it this time.

Friend's key fob is always running out of battery. I think it's defective.

I have found mine so far from the chair it looks like I was tossing it around..I think it might fall or get knocked off the arm of the chair and ends up somewhere strange
