A Good Night

My sister and her family had to come to our area for my nephew Hudson’s doctor appointment, and then they came over, and spent the day at my dad’s. We all went to see lights about 45 minutes away, where you could get out and walk, and also take the train. Pictured are some of the lights. We had such a good day and night. I had had an earlier appointment with one of my doctor, and that was stressful, so the time I spent with them was so fun.

I love light shows! Probably when I went to a different city mystery shopping, I got to shop in a Lidl store in a different area and it was really well stocked. Although naturally the one thing I had my eye on didn't seem to be available.It doesn't take alot to make me happy sometimes.

The last time I had fun was this past Sunday when we decorated the sanctuary for Christmas. I was super tired after, but I had fun.

That sounds like such a nice time, I'm glad you were able to see them and go see the lights.
The last time I had fun...Thanksgiving day, as I got sick the next day and have had to stay close to home. Finally mostly better, so hopefully some fun will be happening before long!

Those lights are sure pretty. I know you enjoyed being with your family. Medical visits can be very stressful, but hope yours wasn't bad news.

Oh, no, no bad news. But it was the pain management doctor, and they make you jump through hoops at every monthly appointment. I was talking about it with another lady, waiting along with me. She said she gets sick to her stomach every time because they make her feel so much like a felon.

@AmbiePam That is just so unfair. I bet their patients would be treated differently if they were ever in pain. Prayers for God's healing touch for you.

I'm glad you had fun with your sister and her family. The picture is beautiful.
I had fun last night. My friend forgot my turn when she brought me home from Writer's Guild because we were talking. In doing so, we went down a street with amazing Christmas decorations.

Seeing lights is always fun! I just got back from a trip to Gettysburg National Military Park to see the museum and battlefield. Great historical interest and yes enjoyable.
Prior to that anytime I get together with my sibs for holidays or during the summer is a good time.

@AmbiePam I had been there previously. Years ago. This time I went on a guided bus tour of the battlefield which really highlighted the experience. The guide really made you feel like you were there when the battle took place.
