December is rolling right along. 19 days until Christmas,say it ain't so. I have what I hope is a Christmas themed luncheon to go to tomorrow. Friend is coming down to attend as well. I hope it's good. It would be disappointing if it was a turkey sandwich or something...

. I could go to a party on Saturday..but I don't want to pay 40 bucks to join this group for 2 years, and I just went to an event last month. It will be a delicious potluck, but oh well. Not much going on here..what is new in your neck of the woods?

I have the fun endeavor of trying to reach Social Security. Current wait time is one hour, and that is when you call first thing in the morning. 
Otherwise, I’m just looking forward to meeting up with my best friend this weekend.

@snowy22315 Yes, there is one close by here too, but last time I was there, there was a line outside the door before it opened. I might go up there Friday morning if the phone doesn’t work out. I can’t tomorrow because of two doctor appointments. I always prefer in person with Social Security.

I hope so! Luckily there is an SS office in Charlottesville. I try to go in person rather than doing the phone thing.

@AmbiePam One time I went I just breezed in another time I was behind some one who had some sort of complicated case, lacking documentation didn't speak English well etc. Sigh!

I'm starting to feel the pressure as the days are flying by and I still have so much to do for Christmas.

Thanks, I hope so.I have this all built up in my mind as a nice hot lunch looking festive..I am going to be disappointed if it is a turkey sandwich and a few chips. Argh..
