7 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from a mild Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.
It's been a good day today. I accomplished everything I set out to do.
I'm thankful for spending time here with you. I have the notifications done twice. It was good to see what you're doing in your world and how you're preparing for Christmas for those of you who celebrate the season.
I'm thankful for a trip to Walgreen's this morning. I always buy a new pair of slippers for Christmas. I didn't think I would find a nice pair, but I did. I also got the tree lights I need to replace the ones that burned out. I also found a large cup with the letter V on it. Yes, it had my name on it, so I bought it. It holds 18 ounces.
I'm thankful for Canasta today. We cut the game short, as it was going long. It was very close when we called it quits. It was a lot of fun as usual.
I'm thankful my package from Amazon was in when the game was over. I have my door finished, as you can see above. Getting a good picture wasn't easy.

@just4him I had a wonderful lazy weekend. I slept and slept the whole time

Yes, it is. There are many good doors worthy of the contest prize. They will hand out two prizes. One for Santa's Favorite, and the other for Elve's Disaster. Obviously, I went for Elve's Disaster. There's one on the second floor I'll be voting for, for Santa's Favorite. The person who made her wreath made it herself. It's beautiful. I'll take a picture of it when I walk today.

I am thankful that I was able to contact my health insurance company this afternoon to have a ride scheduled to see my specialist two weeks from this evening.

You did a great job! I am thankful my dental appointment went ahead without any problems, and the lady at the post office saved me $15 through a loophole. I thanked her over and over.
