I think I was sixteen and my sister was eighteen when my dad treated us to a really special Christmas present. He took us to a place that gave helicopter rides to see the lights of the city at night. It was gorgeous! He and my mom had gone the year prior. That was definitely my favorite way to see Christmas lights.
The picture is of my dad and his wife’s Christmas tree this year.

Nope, hate them, funny in National guard. Marines you used to having to prove something but in National Guard I learned did not need to. They like Sanchez threw up all over the place and she crazy, this fool not crazy like her. I bet he is happy he missed it. I go I am and you right Sanchez twice the man of me, but she would never survive the Marines, I did. The quietness.

I hate hights, but if it didn't scare me I'd love it.

They have such a pretty tree, I think that angels are their theme.
I wouldn't want a helicopter ride for a couple of reasons.
I am petrified of heights, and I had a dear friend who was air lifted to a hospital an hour away just before he passed.
I think of him whenever I see a helicopter landing at the hospital.

That is a beautiful Christmas tree, That sounds like it must have been great to see all those lights from above. I have only been in a helicopter once, Way back when I was about ten and staying with my childhood friend and her family in the country in NY State her father chose to treat us both for a helicopter ride over the countryside and mountains, It was exciting but since I am scared of heights once was enough,

How cool. I may have been in a helicopter, but if so I don't remember. Mostly I've had rides in little planes like Cessnas.

I rode on a military helicopter when I was in Air Force ROTC in high school. I loved it. It was quite a thrill.

The Christmas tree is very pretty and I really hope I could have such a ride as yours when I was that young.

Lovely tree. No, I wouldn't care to take a helicopter ride. Have a good weekend.

That sounds like a fun helicopter ride, for sure! I have only been on one when I was about my son's age. I won a free helicopter ride with a few other students because we got the highest scores on our reading tests for the whole school year.
Very nice tree! Looks very nice

@AmbiePam I thought it was too, because I was like the only kid from my class that got to do it.
