8 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a pleasant Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. According to my computer, it's 49 F out there. It was warm enough for me to get the tree retrimmed and get it anchored so the wind wouldn't destroy it. I'm thankful I have the tree done again. I even found something to anchor it on the bottom so it wouldn't move. I'm using my five-pound weights. I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Challenge. I'm on the last of the three inserted chapters before I complete the edit. It's going well. It helps that I've been in writing mode for the last three days. I'm thankful for the time spent here today. It's always good to know what you're doing in your world. I'm thankful for the phone call I got today from a myLotter no longer here. I don't hear from her often and it's always a pleasure when I do. She was sad to learn about the news I shared with her about Gill's passing. I'm thankful I have all my steps today. I also took pictures of all the doors when I walked. It's fun to see the holiday decorations on the doors. I'm thankful for Amazon. I have my books as you can see in the photo above. I ordered five, one for me, one for someone who wants to buy it from me, and the others for those who helped me with it. I'm so excited to hold the finished copy in my hands. I showed my friend down the hall and she loves the cover and the blurb on the back. Okay, that's my day. It's a perfect day. What are you thankful for today. Thanks for reading.
