I prepared a corn pie af sorts that I had found and thawed yesterday when I was looking for the Duchesse potatoes. I ate it and then decided to have ice cream for dessert. I went to the freezer to get the icecream and there were the Duchesse potatoes. Right in front of my very eyes!!! I decided to eat that too as I only had a few of the small potatoes. I heated them where I had made the escalivada. with a wooden spoon I turned the little round potatoes in the oil with its eggplant aroma and placed them in the oven. It has been years since I fry them. But I still have not decided to buy an air fryer. Now it is nap time. Everything was delicious. And I have eaten a bit of what was in that freezer. In this later week I have arranged one of the freezer drawers and only have there food that I have placed in the last 2 weeks. I will eat the food with older labels little by little. I hope that by fall I will be able to make a throrough cleaning of the deep freezer.
