A male turkey is gaining popularity with the residents of Kentwood Michigan by getting up early in the morning from his bed in the trees and chasing autos on the streets as well as blocking traffic in an act of being playful.
Kentwood resident Cathy Kutschinski mentioned that desite the behavior of the male turkey who is being called "Gary Junior" after a male turkey also known as "Gary" who passed away in 2022 is a likeable animal since the turkey is entertaining to the residents of their neighborhood.
Kayla Smith who is also a resident of Kentwood started a fan club for Gary Senior when the turkey was running around.
Many Kentwood residents shared their stories on Facebook to the delight of Kayla who buried Gary Senior after he passed away in 2022.
It appears that Gary Junior is following in the footsteps of his predecessor in Kentwood Michigan.

I hope Gary Jr. doesn't cause an accident or get hit by a car.

The car may cause a traffic accident in order to avoid it.

Popular turkeys. Very entertaining at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Won't imagine them on the table with all the fixins

That turkey better be careful if he is still prancing around, come Christmas time, as some annoyed motorist might have him for Christmas dinner, and not as a guest around the table, but on the table, as the main meal.
My Dad used to ask the question,
"How do you stop a rooster from waking you up early on a Sunday morning, by his constant crowing?"
The answer was to eat him for dinner on Saturday night!
