Start of Monday morning....

Good morning from this side of the planet 
. It's another gloomy morning with no signs of the Sun or the rain. I really hope to get some sun later. We really need that.
It's Monday morning but no rush to work. My Christmas break has started 
. I woke up at 6 despite it being a holiday. One extra hour from regular weekdays waking time is good enough. I would like to maintain my sleep wake rhythm in this holiday to stay productive and enjoy at the same time.
I finished cooking breakfast for my younger daughter who has left for her exams now. And then I came to mylotting.
. Answered the notifications. I was expecting more notifications, but seems not much active members here these days. Seems like festival and holidays are keeping them away.
Mylotting on a weekday in early hours is like a luxury and I plan to do that in this holiday. I would go for a morning walk with my husband in some time. He and my elder daughter are still in their warm beds, the best thing to do on a cold morning when you have no where to go
I have nothing much planned for the day except for the regular things. I am taking my therapy sessions in the afternoon. And that would be all for work today. I am doing the bare minimum around the house. Plan to take my elder daughter for her eye checkup today and her regular medical checkup tomorrow.

Good for your Xmas break! Yes it is good to keep the rhythm, more time in bed does not always mean more time to rest. We normally walk in the afternoon, just a habit we got into I suppose, but I find that if I walk in the morning, it makes me so languid that I do not really want to do anything for the rest of the day

You are right. More time in bed leaves you more lethargic. I would rather like to stay productive and engaged during Holidays. I want to do things that I love to do. I have a lot of reading to catch up.
On working days, I get the morning time to do my exercises or walk. I love walking and would do it any time . I walk to my work. So, I get a bit of walk while returning back during the afternoon.

Yes, planning to stay productive and enjoy the holidays too. Now that we are done with the mini vacation in the beginning, we stay indoors most of the time. We will stay engaged and entertained with all that we like to do.
Catching up with the reading sounds good. I would like to do that next week after my elder daughter leaves.

Thank you. I am back from my weekend getaway. No plan for other vacation. So, mostly I would stay in home and enjoy. Enough at hand to stay engaged and productive.

@just4him Yes, finally today we got some sunlight in the afternoon after lunch. Morning was gloomy but then we got some bright sun in the afternoon and late afternoon. I sat in the sun in my balcony enjoying it

The temperature is pleasant here but days are gloomy and cloudy. We have no rain though. We want some good sunlight. It has been days with this gloomy weather.

Thank you Linda. I have two weeks of break. And it's mostly staying indoors, enjoying with rest and being productive to finish a few things that have been lingering on for a while.
My daughter was happy with her performance in yesterday's exam. Today she has to write two papers and would be late to home. I have packed her lunch

I am having my two weeks long vacation. So, days don't bother me for another week. . I like both Monday and Friday. Friday sets in the weekend mood.. I don't get Monday blues. I look forward to a new week.
