This morning I kept ITV on because Sam Ryder was on "This Morning" (Daily morning magazine show!) He didn't come on properly till the end, but they kept on reminding us he was on!
Then this afternoon we went to the big Tesco again.
First thing I did when I got to the big Tesco was I posted my order for the Doctor Who 2024 Annual! Then I got rid of the soft plastic recycle, and then we went up on the lift.
We got some posher flowers this week, seeing as it's nearly Christmas, then I went and got a stamping magazine. Then I got 3 packets of seaweed thins, 1 bottle of water and 2 prawn layered salads.
I went to get some pads for my Mum, but I could only get one packet. Then we went to the fruit and veg section where we got the usual things. Then I got my yoghurts and 3 bottles of milk for my Mum as we are going to my brother's house on Boxing Day and I won't be going to the little Tesco. Mum got some puddings for Sunday.
Then I got some butter and cheese for my Mum and step-dad. Then we went to the vegan and ready meals isle, where I got tofu, a mushroom and garlic slice for Saturday, some not-chicken pieces, a sweet and sour Quorn thing, some vegan dips, some funny things to go with my Christmas dinner and a vegan quiche. My Mum got her own ready meals.
Then I went and got my Salmon for Christmas dinner. Then we both went and got some rice, I got brown rice and brown and wild rice and Mum got some microwave egg fried rice.
Then we went and got some sardines and cockles for my step-dad and then we went to the cakes. My Mum got some cakes and we got some mini apple crumbles for me and my Mum to have as pudding on Christmas day covered in brandy butter (mine plant based!) while my step-dad has a Christmas pudding!
Then we got 2 lots of pringles and some mini cheddars. Then I got my Matcha green tea T-bags, and some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for me and my Mum.
Then we went to the frozen section. My Mum wanted some pork pies but she didn't know where they were so didn't bother getting any! She got some chips and some battered cod, then went and got some cheese and onion rolls (they're the same as sausage rolls but with cheese and onion in them!)
Then we went to pay. It cost just over £130! My Mum helped me to pack the bags then we went and sat on a bench. I went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap and then we went down on the lift.
My step-dad wasn't there when we got into the car park but it wasn't long before he came. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. Then I made a Christmas card for Dave and Ali, and then I put the new flowers out.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

@sharonelton It's windy here too but a hot wind. There are several areas with bushfires at the moment but none near us thankfully.

@JudyEv Oh, it's a very cold wind here. It's very blustery. My Mum nearly got blown off her feet when she went to the hairdressers earlier!
I'm glad the bushfires are nowhere near you. The fire we had across the road from us last week scared me. Fortunately it wasn't this windy last week or I don't know what would have happened! Well, I do! The whole street would have gone up!

Well, nearly. As I just told someone else my brother just came round with our presents but we told them theirs weren't ready yet! Mum has still got to buy some presents for the boys. They are coming back for the ones that are done in a few hours.
I hope you have a wonderful day too.

@sharonelton Tesco was murder this afternoon here. I wanted to pull the antlers off the staff members who were wearing them, and the piped music was just so distressing. Can’t wait till Christmas is over. I would love to have salmon for Christmas dinner but I’ve been outvoted so I’m doing my usual lamb roasted in a garlic, rosemary and anchovy paste.

Oh,
The shop assistants in our big Tesco were wearing Christmas jumpers, but no antlers. What have you got against antlers?
In our Tesco they were playing Christmas songs which I didn't mind. It wasn't too loud. They could have played You're Christmas To Me by Sam Ryder though. Don't you like Christmas? Don't you like the lamb? I hope you do enjoy your Christmas.
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

You got lots done. I bought a small ham for Christmas Eve. The price was decent..didn't make up for the apples, but oh well!

Yes, we did, didn't we? Got everything for Christmas dinner (except my Mum hasn't got any sprouts!
) I hope you enjoy your ham on Christmas Eve, and I'm glad the price was decent.

@sharonelton - I am almost ready, I want to relax the Christmas Eve's day.
We both love salmon and I often serve salmon during the holidays.

I love salmon too. It's very tasty. My salmon that I'm having for Christmas has added herbs. Yummy!

Well, almost! My brother Dave just came round with our presents but we told them theirs weren't ready! I've wrapped their presents from me, and all I had to do was seal the envelopes on their Christmas cards, but Mum hadn't wrapped the one present she'd got for Charlie and Noah (that's one each) which is a selection box each. She's wrapping them now. Then she was going to write the Christmas card for Dave and Ali. But she's still got to get some more presents for the boys. They'll have to have those on Boxing Day now when we go round their house. They are coming back in a few hours to fetch the ones we have done now after they've been to see Ali's Mum and Dad.
I hope you are all ready for Christmas.
Have a nice day.
