Anita just went away and again I have my swollen feet up.
When I go away, I discover how nice my house is. And while it is true that Luna is now the owner of what used to be my garden, the house is mine and clean and relaxed.
As to the outside, Tania´s surroundings are much better. The volcano is a sight in itself. But there are also the giant trees, the oaks and the chestnuts and so many other old trees.
At night one can see the tip of the volcano in red. I want to imagine that some very old gnomes live there and are getting warmed by a fireplace.. The people who live near the volcano don´t find that sight so romantic. The authorities call it Yellow Alert and then Red Alert. Tania told me that they were supposed to have some packed water, dry food and clothes all the time just in case. But Tania´s home is very far from the volcano. Or so she says.
My forest made of concrete hardly has trees. But I feel comfy here.

I think that I’d find it hard to relax living near a volcano. We do have a dormant volcanic about a hour and a half from our home.

This is the most active volcano we have and we have many active ones.

I discovered a long time ago that not even Santiago is where my nest is. It is just a part of Santiago.

@LadyDuck I discovered that when I had a big gallbladder episode that needed surgery when we were on vacations in the south of Chile. I understood then why the animals go back to die where they were born.

I am glad you feel comfy in your home, I hope your feet get the rest they need. Sort of like I feel comfortable in my little apartment. I have a view of some palm trees and other kinds of trees and one thing I really love. From one of my windows I can look up the next block and see the giant gold cross on top of the Greek Orthodox church that is always of comfort especially glinting in the sunlight,

I doubt I would feel comfortable living by a volcano. I'm glad you're comfy cozy at home. Have a good day.

Our land is monitored all the time. That´s why we don´t have many casualties during earthquakes.

Do you know if that volcano has ever erupted?. I do not know much about volcanoes because we do not have them here in the UK. We do get occasional small earthquakes and tremors. At the moment we are expecting storms.
