Supermarket doesn't sell ice-cream in the winter

I've often craved ice-cream these days, but my local supermarket doesn't sell ice-cream this time of year. They usually stop stocking towards the end of September until the beginning of the summer. They've told me, it doesn't sell so they avoid it. I'm not sure it's a good concept, as I'm sure people would enjoy an ice-cream, especially during these holidays. Does your supermarket do this too?

Our grocery stores sell ice cream all year round, and in the winter they have special flavors like peppermint candy cane, pumpkin spice, and egg nog.

@Karusa It’s a LOT of peppermint. I couldn’t take more than two bites.

Really? All our supermarkets sell ice-cream in the winter, particularly during the holidays.

Yes, I think because I live in a small town, they tend to save on the costs. The pasticcerie bars don't either. Which is such a shame as they make the best ice cream.

@Karusa It is possible, they also save the space for other kind of frozen food.

That's strange. Although the winter is cold here, but the ice cream is still available in the supermarket.

Nope. Here you can get ice cream all year round, and people tend to eat it all year round.

Out here, I think we could almost get anything all year round - including ice cream. I wish I could send some to you!
