A Christmas miracle happened in Irvington New Jersey when New Jersey-based animal rescue volunteers Marcia Sandford Fishkind and her partner Eileen DiNicola reached out to their friend John DeBacker who needed their help to save a cat whose gender is not known who had a jar stuck on its head for a short while. Eyewitnesses who saw a tabby cat walking in the neighborhood in Irvington were calling John to tell him that a cat needed his help to remove the jar from the head of the cat. John was able to locate the cat who was in a cramped space outside when he was able to grab the cat and remove the jar from its head since the animal rescuer volunteers and neighbors could not remove the jar from the head of the cat. After the jar was removed from the head of the cat by John, the cat is safe and is being cared by an animal rescue volunteer. A nice Christmas rescue story to share here. I am sure that John used some tools that he had to remove the jar off of the head of the cat.

People really need to be more careful when they dispose of their trash. I understand cats get into trash easily, though.

That is what the animal rescuers are telling residents not to throw their garbage on the street since cats and other animals will get caught trying to eat food inside of the jars.
