This word was created in 2015. It was during the European games and hosted by Azerbaijan. It was said that the nation was utilizing sports as a diversion from its dismal human rights record. Thus, it is being used to give a good reputation for a bad image known by. Regardless, it can also be a word of choice to give a good impression not only of a country's image but also of companies or individuals.
