Good morning. I'm a little early, but I wanted to give you an update on the storm we're getting today into tomorrow.
All activities and schools are closed in Northeast Wisconsin and I'm sure across most of the state where the snow will be the heaviest.
For Northeast Wisconsin, we've been upgraded to Blizzard. Our last blizzard was in April of 2018. I remember that three day storm. We got over 24 inches of snow then. With this storm they're predicting 10 inches for Green Bay, 14 inches along Lake Michigan.
The winds will gust to 50 mph. They're telling everyone to stay off the roads as it will be almost impossible to drive with the whiteout conditions. You know someone will be on the roads though challenging the weather.
If you are part of this storm system Winter Storm Bennett, be safe. Don't go out if you don't need to.

Believe it or not, we are a part of that storm system way down here in Florida, but certainly not under the conditions you are facing. For us it will just be a rain experience, with high winds.

@moffittjc Power outages. So far, I haven't seen too many of those. They're predicting outages with this storm.

I don't know if it'll get here. Stay safe, and you know I never go out unless I absolutely have to at this time of year.

I bet you're a happy camper today hearing about all that snow that's going to fall. We aren't getting any snow this weekend but later today and into tomorrow more rain and wind expected. We're only halfway through Jan and I'm already tired of winter.

@just4him we might be getting some sort of snow event on Tues but right now it's iffy. But we are going to get very cold next week. So far the temperatures haven't been too bad.

@Marilynda1225 Yeah, we're getting very cold next week too. Monday - 5, Tuesday - 3, Wednesday - 3, Thursday we will go into a heat wave at 11. Windchills will be -10 to -30 next week.

We have a blizzard warning, but didn't know it had a name. so not sure if it is the same lol. I think ours was for up to 9 inches down where I live, up to 16 in the mountains. Hopefully you get some snow for you.

I guess you are probably enjoying the blizzard safely inside. We will get some heavy weather over the next several days. Most notable will be the wind.
