I have to give my respects to the firefighters who are employed by the Glendale Fire Department when they were called by the owner of a pet goat that managed to climb up the roof of his owner and was helpless to come down from the roof.
The incident took place last Monday when the Glendale Arizona firefighters were able to climb on the roof and safely get the goat out of the danger zone and reunite the goat to his owner who appreciated the good deed executed by the firefighters.
No one was hurt in the rescue of the goat who for some strange reason decided to take a walk on the roof of his owners home.

One of my friend’s goats got on top of her garage a couple of times. The garage is separate from her house, but is not as tall. Apparently, it hopped up there, and got comfortable. While she was trying to figure out how to get it down, it jumped off by itself.
In this case, I am glad the firefighters intervened. This sounded a lot more dangerous than my friend’s goat situation.

That is a good question since what I know about goats is that they like being in high places.

Neither did I had knowledge of goats climbing up roofs either.

I hope that it does not become a regular occurrence now, as the goat might find its way up there again, if it's got the taste for roof-hopping now.
Firefighters need to be multi-talented it seems for rescues such as this one was.
