What movies & shows do you watch?

I love watching things like Modern marvels FBI FILES, live courts, thrillers, true stories discovery, certain news channels, true crimes. I put myself in the role of what ever I'm watching & think about if it was me in that situation what would I do or how would I react or thank GOD I haven't been in that situation in my life time. I find it really cool to learn from them shows that if I was EVER in a situation like on t v how would I deal with it or what would I do? I don't think any 1 would know the answer till they find themselves in a tv situation of what they watch, but yet we all think we'd do this or that but yet how do they know what they'd do? I also like WATCHING the show without some 1 telling me they done seen it & tell you what happens what's the point of watching after that, there is none. Right now I'm keeping my eyes & ears on the cacus's of what's going on with that, but I will find me a movie to watch after awhile, that gets my interest to watch it. What kind of stuff do you like watching on Tv? do you put yourself in the same situation as the people in a movie you like watching? let me know your thoughts.

I've been binge watching Disappeared on Discovery ID. I can't envision what it would be like to have a loved one seemingly disappear from the face of the earth without a trace to never be seen again. I like most cop shows on Discovery ID like On the Case with Paula Zahn, 48 Hours, Shattered. I like older family shows like Roseann, Home Improvement, Family Matters, The Middle, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie I like sci fi shows like Star Trek, Star Trek The Next Generation. I like old shows like The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, Sherlock Holmes, Colonel March of Scotland Yard, The Outer Limits.

I haven't heard of that 1 "disappearance" sounds pretty interesting, start track I remember back in the day, I loved little house on the prairie, I really miss that 1. the twilight zone & sherlock homes I remember too the dude drove his family compleatly out of their minds. The Waltons was another family show I enjoyed I wish the world would be like either or both the waltons & little house on the prairie we'd be so much better off.

I watch a lot of sports, and sports talk shows. I love football and baseball especially. But Disappeared, Still a Mystery, and the rebooted Forensic Files are high on my list of shows too (I have about 20 unwatched episodes currently on my DVR). Other than that, I catch an episode of Impractical Jokers and laugh a lot at that.

@snowy22315 It used to be on HLN, but then went to the ID channel where Disappeared airs. It's last new episode was late August, so I imagine a new season is coming in late spring. It's last season was it's fourth, and it's official name is Forensic Files II.

It depends if I could relate to the story. If it's sci fi or fantasy movie, I can't seem to put myself in the same situation. I just don't find them realistic enough. But there are a lot of movies and shows that I could see myself in coz I had the same exact experience.

I don't get much peace to watch much, but when I do, I love the true crime shows, like Investigation ID , things of that nature. I know I have mostly watched all the 48 hours .. As far as movies go, I watch just whatever catches my fancy at the few hours I might get. I always put myself in the other person's shoes, and sometimes I have already been there.

@2ndchances24 I have Netflix and I love to watch mysteries, comedies, thrillers, true stories. What fancies me I like to check out and if just saw it go on to something else or watch again if it was a while that I saw it. I like Hebrew programs too and this one I am watching now has no subtitles and understand the gist of it. I really like it and it is entertaining. I do not watch things necessarily to learn from them but to be entertained and if I learn something new that is great.

I've never been a fan of friends, I have a friend that watch's it, & it just doesn't grab me like it does others, I rather watch a thriller or a true crime story. But if you enjoy it that's good & laughter is a healer.

I do like watching true crime podcasts on youtube and on the Roku channel. I like action and spy shows. Yesterday I got through watching Fubar. It's a spy show. I also like some sci-fi shows. I just got through watching Beacon 23. No, I don't think about myself in those situations.

When it comes to movies or web series...my favorite genre is thrillers, suspense, or suspenseful horror. I like to see dark comedies or neo noir movies as well. Am thankful to OTT platforms like Netflix and prime video that has exposed me to different genres of world cinema.

I'm more into reality show tv as well as game shows and comedies. I rarely watch tv crime on tv but it's funny because that's my favorite genre to read. When I'm reading I do put myself into the position of the character and wonder what I would do in that situation.
