What's Going on Over There? / myLot

We had the family next door move out over a month ago. They had like 5 kids and she was expecting another. I was awakened several mornings by drilling, pounding, and all manner of busy renovating going on over there.

Then it was quiet for a few days but now they are over there again today vacuuming. **PLEASE NOTE** There is a certain frequency of sound that some of these drills and vacuums make that hurts my head. It causes real pain in my head.

*********************************************************************************************** Maintenance is busy over there today. I think I should contact the landlady and see if we can't move in over there. With all the work they've been doing my family and I could enjoy a newer place after living here for the past 20+ years.

So after the family moved out they began the renovations? Maybe the family was a little quieter than the work that's now being done? Have your ever tried ear plugs? I would turn on my music but that might make things worse for you.

Moving to a new house would be another botheration. You have to move a lot of things.

@celticeagle I have moved from one house to another many times and understand how tough it is. Lot of things have to be replaced. I am happy that I have settled down in my own house.

Oh they wont let you do that..anything good for you wont happen..just like here. Sorry you are dealing with that..I know how that is..the noise here is insane but it aint fixing anything.

I just feel lucky to have a roof over our heads. I hate to think of us being so close to being otherwise.

You can only ask. I hope they will have the renovations done soon, so you won't have all that noise again. But if you move, they will renovate your place for the next occupant.

It's just a dream. They probably want to have it rented by spring and we wouldn't even start moving in until then.
