Off the clock firefighter rescues two people in a house fire in Missouri

Thanks to the teamwork of off duty firefighter Kevin Drury who is also a paramedic and a police officer with the St. Charles Missouri Police Department responded to an emergency call on Sunday morning before the sunrise that two persons were inside of a burning home. After Kevin called out where the two persons who were inside of the burning home, he entered the home that was filled with smoke, he risked his life to get both persons out of the danger zone by dragging them to the front door where paramedics arrived to take care of the fire victims who were then taken to Mercy Hospital to be treated for their injuries. One St. Charles firefighter was taken to Saint Joesph Health Center where the firefighter was taken to be treated for injuries suffered in the fire and then released the same day without any injuries. St. Charles Fire Department Fire Chief George Sheets praised the rescue of the two fire victims by his firefighter and the police officer for saving the lives of the fire victims.
