Is the weather getting better?

Good afternoon to you all,
So, we finally broke out of the deep freeze, we got up to 36F (2C) today and a little thawing of the snow. They are talking about just above freezing for the next few days so that will be nice. The downside of it is we might get some freezing rain or snow in the next two days.
I don’t mind the snow but freezing rain is no fun. Bad enough driving in the snow but ice, that is no fun at all. Not to mention the other issues such as car doors freezing shut, and the high possibility of power lines going down when they are coated with ice and several other issues that can come with it.
I have my battery generators charging up right now just in case. I would rather be prepared for the worst than be sorry about it later.

Makes me glad that I live in Florida and it'll be flirting with 80 over the next week.

@Bensen32 My husband would claim anything under 80 is 'to cold'. But, then I'm not sure how well he can regulate his own temper. Well, post stroke anyway.

Our weather here in Florida has warmed back up nicely, with highs in the lower to mid 80s all week. Not to rub it in, but I’ll be back to wearing shorts and t-shirts this week. I hope your weather keeps improving and that you stay safe.

@Bensen32 It was warm here all week, and today (Saturday) is another warm day before we dip down into cooler temperatures again. I hate the freezing cold, but I hate the heat even more. I like it just mildly cool. This is how our upcoming week will be. Highs in the mid-60s with lows in the low 40s. To me, that is the perfect weather.

The cold snap that affected my area last week which included very cold temperatures and sleet that is now history even though light rain is coming to my area overnight.

After an ice storm Sunday night and the week before that being subzero temps we're finally seeing a warm up into the mid 40s. Unfortunately, with that we are getting a lot of rain and it's quite dreary and foggy out. Oh well. At least it's warmer.
