What are you reading?

I spent the afternoon curled up with my book. It was a good distraction especially since it's lighthearted and funny. One of my favorite authors is Janet Evanovich and the book I'm reading is Dirty Thirty. It's the 30th book in this series and I've read every one of them. Her main characters are in each book so it just feels like you're visiting with friends. I highly recommend these books if you like to laugh. What are you reading these days?

I do..I never read anything by her. I thought she wrote murder mysteries. I am reading The Shining. It has been a long time since I read it the first time.

I loved the Shining and the movie was good too. I haven't read a Stephen King in a long time even though he used to be one of my favorites

@Marilynda1225 Not too much of a fan of some of his later work, although I liked Cell. It had too many pages. I watched the movie instead.

It has been a few weeks since I picked up a book. I think I have been too distracted.

I had put aside six new books to read while I was recovering from foot surgery, but since I don't have to have it, I can start reading those books. Yay!

I love Stephanie Plum too, but I've only got from 1 to 27... better start looking for 28-30. Currently, I'm going through my 'Magical Cats' (incomplete) collection by Sofie Kelly (or Sofie Ryan for her 'Second Chance' series).

Haven't heard of that series. I am reading a couple of books in bits and pieces. And an article about David Crosby in Acoustic (guitar player) Magazine.

After reading Just your type and Please Understand me II, I read Building blocks of personality type. Those books are interesting because they make me understand person can be so different when it comes to temperament...Building blocks of personality type enables me to understand the different cognitive functions. Each MBTI temperament has auxiliary and dominant functions..

@Marilynda1225 true...I found out I have this sensitive temperament ..I realize how important it would be for parents and guardians to know their children's temperament and find ways to develop it..

Not one book at a stretch. There's 'Conversations with Nostradamus' by Dolores Cannon, 'Pain, A Portal to Enlightenment' by Shweta Singh Kirti as of now.
