As far as home visits and therapies go at least. I have two more tube feeds to do, but George is trying to figure out the t.v. in the pod. More power to him I suppose. I know he's getting sick of the schedule, feeds and meds. All part of the healing process. He's getting there.
My doctor's office called again, trying to schedule a appoitment for my anual check-up. I don't have the time with George's schedule. Between his appoitments, therapists coming in and out, paying for transportation to and from. I just don't have the time or money. I even canceled my appoitment back in Nomver because he was in the hospital and I refuse to go to the doctor alone.
All in all it's a boring day.

When you have had a lot of health emergencies, a boring day can be a good one. Please do not put off taking care of yourself. I understand about therapies and appointments, etc. It is tough.

I don't put off taking care of myself. I make sure to make time for self care. If I were ill, then I would consider making a doctor's appointment. However, I'm not going to put myself and George through something like that when it's not needed. I don't really believe in preventive care, especially from cheep doctors who can't be bothered to listen to me, and want to diagnose me with something, when they don't take the time to get to know me or the circumstances that might've led to the results on my bloodwork. I am tired of people looking at the numbers, and use them as an excuse to try to lecture me about my health like I'm an idiot or make me feel bad enough to do something about it. A good self-respecting doctor would know better.

Oh, I'm not sick and don't actually need to be seen. It's the annual physical so I can chose to do that or not.

It's just a routine annual physical they want me to have every year. As long as I get it done once a year, they're happy. I just need George to be a little better, and his load to lighten some. He has PT scheduled once this week, and that could be his discharge from that part of the program. Not sure about OT as of yet.

No. This doctor's office doesn't offer telehealth visits. Even if they did, I wouldn't do it. I don't exactly want to go to the doctor. And, I know I'm setting a bad example for George by refusing. However, I'm only human.
