27 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a dreary Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The temp on my computer is 39 F. From what I'm seeing on my patio, I'm not a happy camper. As soon as I can download the pictures, I'll show you what it looks like out there. It isn't a pretty sight.
That aside, I have reasons to be thankful today.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night and the nap today. I seem to be repeating myself, but I do like a good night's sleep, even if it is 6.5 hours as it was last night. My nap today was about an hour.
I'm thankful for food to eat. I had oatmeal for breakfast with raspberries in it and salmon and rice for lunch. Of course I had my banana for breakfast.
I'm thankful for achieving my steps by walking the hallway twice today. I also saw the man who lost his wife a couple of days ago. I called my friend, who knew them, and I'll be going to the viewing tomorrow. I always meet people in the hallway when I get my steps.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Call. I finished the read-through. It didn't take long as it's only 163 pages. I'll start work on Monday on chapter 18. This is an historic novel, so I have an actual historic event to deal with as well as a situation that has me intrigued for the outcome. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
I'm thankful for the time spent with you today and seeing what you're doing in your world. You're a huge part of my day. I finished the notifications three times.
Okay, that's my day. Time to get off the computer and watch the telly for a few mindless hours before bed. Church in the morning. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. Everything sounds good in your world except for the warm temps,and having to go to the viewing. I am thankful we had a pleasantly warm day here today.

We lost in the second game of the playoffs.
They did surprisingly well with a new quarterback. It didn't look like we would go to the playoffs this year and then they turned it around in the last half of the season.
