A teenager, age 17, created a device for Alzheimer's patients. It is a wearable device with 20 prototypes. It all started when his grandmother was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 12. The brilliant teen is Hemesh Chadalavada from India. The device can monitor if the patient starts to mobilize, and it is called the Alpha Monitor. It can be attached to the arm or other body parts. More of the features are to monitor the pulse and body temperature. The sad part is that it was not finished to be sold in the market. For the reason that he needs to finish his exam in March. The target month to be on sale is September. How beneficial do you believe the Alpha Monitor will be for those suffering from Alzheimer's?

I can feel you. I am also hoping that patients with dementia would have the right medications or treatments. At present, there is still no cure for Alzhemeir's disease.

I also read that he won a prize of $40,000 from Samsung because of this innovative device. He can be more successful in the future.

Do you mean that his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of 12, or that he was 12 when she was diagnosed? I have no idea how the Alpha Monitor can be beneficial because I still know nothing. I have to search first.
