I've never eaten bottlegourd. Every country has its own particular products I guess.

Parshe fish is a kind of mullet? That will be good with potatoes
. I'm going to try bottle gourd (none here at the market this week) with rice and peas soon, thanks for the idea.
Last mullets I caught were too small so we used them as bait for cob fish.
