8 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. When last I looked outside, it was raining. Right now, it looks like it stopped. I'm not seeing raindrops on my balcony railing right now. My computer is showing a temperature of 50F.
I have much to be thankful for today.
I'm thankful for the eight hours plus I got for sleep last night. It's rare when I get that much sleep. It doesn't surprise me with how busy I was the last two days. It felt good to get that much sleep.
I'm thankful Stacie picked me up this morning to go to the chiropractor. I also gave her the rocks I painted for her.
I'm thankful for the chiropractic appointment. She was happy with me and told me to come back in two weeks. I made an earlier appointment and Stacie will pick me up again. Having later appointments is hard.
I'm thankful for spending time with you today. I'm finished with the notifications for the first time. It was fun seeing what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful for Canasta today. Seven people, two tables, four and three. I was on the table of three. It was a close game, but I still lost, but not by much. The winner only won by ten points.
I'm thankful for the beef stew my neighbor gave me yesterday. I just finished it. It was very good.
I'm thankful I have the cleaning started for Monday. There's really not a lot to do, so a little each day and I'll be ready when my pastor and his wife come for dinner.

I was worried about George, afraid he might be getting sick. However, he seems to have bounced back today. I'm thankful he's recovering. I'm thankful he's been discharged from OT and PT, and he's recovered to the point he really doesn't need the therapies. It also means he has more breaks during the week from people coming over. Which will be good, because I need to get him to the clinic Monday for a blood draw.

I am grateful that I went to the barber shop to get a haircut and the nice weather outside plus having the pleasure of placing money in Pay Pal for completing surveys.

That is all good to hear....sounds like a fun game though I have never played. Very nice decorations...can be fun even if there is not a contest/competition involved!

I’m thankful for the wonderful amount of sleep I got last night; I needed it. I’m also thankful for the great appointment with the acupuncturist this morning. Lastly, I’m also thankful for a very nice Amazon driver who was very concerned I might not be able to lift my package so he knocked on my door, and offered to place it inside my apartment. I left a very nice note about him on their website because of that.

I'm glad you had a good night's sleep and a wonderful appointment with the acupuncturist.
I'm so glad the Amazon driver helped by bringing the package into the apartment for you. He deserved the nice note you left about him on the website.

I love the decorations, I cashed out on a survey site and now along with the gift cards I have for Walmart I am ready to order my groceries on Saturday, I can be sure I will get all I need,

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. I'm hoping the big card will stay in place. I already put it back up once this morning. Tape doesn't stick well to the door.
