Smoking Update

I talk to my daughter each day about how she's doing with her attempt to stop smoking. We got a bit in-depth about it today. She says she is smoking about 1/4 of what she used to smoke each day. That is only 5 cigarettes each day instead of the usual 20 or so. I am so proud of her progress. We got on her pretty hard a few weeks back and it really seems to have stuck with her. My grandson and I both told her that we worried we would see her getting COPD and that I had noticed how hard it is for her to climb the stairs. I also told her that she was spending about $200 a month on cigarettes each month. That sort of surprised her. I told her I loved her so much and I hated the thought of her getting sick before I might. It ain't supposed to go that way. So, I think the things we said to her really made her think. I am so proud of her. I hope this lasts.
