Isn't it great how a wife makes their husband shine

There is something about a good connection that makes the toughest times even easier.. I noticed the longer we are together the history that we build is the glue that makes everything stick. I have heard the best friendships are the greatest marriages. When you think about it, you would never want to hurt your best friend let alone your wife or husband.

@Itsonlyadream This is how it should be, but so many marriages end up in a divorce.

@LadyDuck I guess nobody gets married to get divorced. Unfortunately, so marriages fall apart. My wife and I have been married twenty-two years and still are doing everything in our power to make it work.

@MarieCoyle I will be the first to admit that there are many things my wife does better than me. That is fine. She helps me along so I am better than I was before. I try to help her with things that she has trouble doing. We are each finding a happy balance. It is a long working progress. It is never a competition just one person helping the other. The desired result a little touch of love that continues flowing without us knowing.

So many people love the single life. It was not for me. I love having someone to come home to and build our life together. One day at a time. Thank you for all your nice thoughts.

@Itsonlyadream Yes first go round is not always good for everyone that happens. Nope not me no one for me..I am fine with it.

@RebeccasFarm Life is short. So as long as we can enjoy our life, do the things we love, help people that we care about, I think that is a wonderful life to live. I have known people for years who I thought were my friends. I was wrong. Then there are some people who are just incredible to be around. They shine without the sun coming out at all. That is truly a God given talent. Those people if you are blessed enough to meet can change your life forever. They can stand alone. They know who they are and people can feel it too.

I hope you are also with someone so special that makes you the happiest every day. We both found each other late in life. So the first go around wasn't the best. They say practice makes perfect. I am so happy to be enjoying life and always trying to make her laugh and she does the same for me.
