Looks to be a long night.

It's just after midnight, and normally I would've set the laptop aside and tried winding down. However, George is on the couch and for some reason still wide awake. I don't know why he is, but for some reason, he is. I'll keep trying to get him to go to bed, when I'm ready to. Hopefully he gets some sleep.

Thankfully, it didn't turn out that way. George did well, actually. He just wound up crashing closer to when he used to prior to hhis stroke.

@kaylachan It sounds like he's turning another corner in his recovery.

I hope he goes to sleep soon. I know how that can be, when my son is bad I don’t ever sleep unless he does.

He crawled back to bed about five minutes after I posted this. So, he's sleeping. The way he was moving around told me he was tired, but not enough to sleep so he came out on the couch rather than toss and turn.

@MarieCoyle I am the same, too. Although I've been known to fall asleep on the couch before I can make it to bed.

Sometimes I have a tendency to do the same thing. Go to the couch, get sleepy, then back to bed.

His body is still healing, and he did take a late cat nap yesterday.
