I am sure that Brandon Haight who was on his job driving his vehicle on Highway 97 near Blewett Pass Washington on Friday January 26 only did his work only when he saw a fire behind a house off of the highway. Brandon pulled over and he saw that a house was on fire. Brandon then used his radio to contact the traffic management center to report the incident to the authorities. Brandon was able to alert people in the area to eave their home as soon as possible being burned from the fire which was heeded by the persons to get away from the danger zone. Brandon was given an award from the officials of the Washington State Department Of Transportation (WSDOT) Challenge Coin Of Honor recently for his actions of saving their lives. I wonder what could cause a house to go up in flames like that in the middle of winter, maybe a wiring fault?? It looks strange with snow all around the burning house. The good Samaritan deserved his award for stopping and assisting the prevention of loss of lives too.
