I've drawn some more pictures ready to paint.

Here is one of three pictures that I've drawn ready to paint.
I've drawn these on canvas paper, which is like a cross between canvas board and acrylic paper. I got a pad of it in an acrylic starter kit kind of thing that came in a plastic bag with snap fastener on the top that I got from The Works ages ago. There was only 8 sheets in the pad, and I used one a while back to paint a kind of forest scene that didn't go to plan! The sheets are a bit more square than most sheets I usually use. But enough about that. I decided to use this because I'm nearly out of acrylic paper in the A3 pad. I got that pad from the art class back in the summer when I was there. I'm hoping to get some soon of the same make when I've got enough Amazon gift vouchers from doing surveys.
Anyway, the first drawing I did was of a frog. This is a larger, more close up frog than the last one I did. It didn't take me very long to do just the outline of the frog with just a few markings on. So I decided to do one or two more. So, next I drew some flowers with a butterfly. The third and final drawing I did was of a cats face. But because the canvas paper is almost square and the reference picture was more rectangular, my cat drawing looks wrong and out of proportion! It looks like someone got the cats jaw and stretched it downwards! But I suppose if you didn't know what the reference picture looked like you might not know there was anything wrong with it!
Anyway, I'm going to be painting at least one if not a bit of all three on Thursday again when my Mum and step-dad go to the luncheon club and I have free access to the dining room table!
I hope you have all had a wonderful day.
Have a great night everybody!

Yes, and I don't know how hard or easy this one is going to be to paint.

Yes, sometimes they are hard to see. I'm glad my explanation helped you see the frog.

@sharonelton There are many times I stare at what looks like lines to me until I can see what it is those lines represent.

@just4him Is that because the picture is dark or the lighting isn't very good?

Yes, they are. I can't wait to paint him. I wonder if I will have some success with this one?

@sharonelton ......I wondered if someone might question that. They are stuffed animals but frogs aren't animals so I didn't know how to describe them for sure.
