Lassie Before Lassie

It's late and I have not had a chance to get on here tonight. So just a quick post and then it is goodnight all. This afternoon I found the tv show Lassie on my ROKU Live TV. And for a change I found the very first episode. That never happens. But this was Lassie, but not Lassie. The show was called "Jeff's Collie" instead of "Lassie." But the dog's name was Lassie. The boy's name was Jeff, and he was not the actor from the Lassie series I grew up watching. Actually, this Lassie started the year before I was born. I don't remember seeing the Lassie series until I was at least 5 or 6 years old. The "Lassie" tv series I grew up with was called "Lassie" and the little boy's name was Timmy. Timmy was played by Joh Provost, and his mom was played by June Lockhart. When I was older, the show continued with a different owner, a forest ranger. I have seen a couple of Lassie movies. I have also read the book "Lassie Come Home." One of my good friends came over for dinner and games. We had Chinese food delivered, and we played SkipBo. Now it is 2 am and time to get to bed.
