Many birthday celebrations

My mom told me she wanted meat for her birthday dinner on Wednesday so we took her to a steakhouse. She ended up ordering a French onion burger after seeing it on the menu. Technically it’s meat as it had a beef patty in it but I thought she wanted steak. She loved the burger though, which is what matters. Hubby and I ordered a dry aged porterhouse for two with creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole on the side. It was really good.
Today we are going to celebrate her birthday again but this time with two of my uncles and their wives. We are going to a Peruvian restaurant. The food is really good there.
And tomorrow my mom has other relatives coming over her house so it will be birthday celebration #3. I think we will order Japanese food. At first we wanted to go out somewhere but they said they wanted to have dinner at home so that’s what we are going to do.

Celebration #3 didn’t happen as she got a bit sick.

@RebeccasFarm She seems to be doing better. Rain check on celebration #3. Hubby got sick though. Probably from work because he told me many people there that are sick. Why are they even allowed to go to work if they are sick? Hubby's been going to work himself though. He had car deliveries he couldn't miss. Plus, if you don't go in you don't really make anything so no choice.

Thank you. The Japanese restaurant plan was switched to dinner at home but then cancelled altogether. Mom’s throat hurt and she was coughing a bit so decided it’s best not to do anything. She didn’t wanna get anyone sick.

Your story reminds me of when my friend wanted to eat at a place with about twenty different kinds of burgers, saying she was in the mood for a juicy burger. She then ordered a salad.

Yep. The more celebrations the better. Maybe even best to do a number of small parties than one huge one.

We always used to celebrate our birthdays for a month each. We would go out to eat, and then usually get pizza and then Chinese. I think that's nice that your mom had 3 celebrations. Have a good weekend.

Unfortunately only two. She wasn’t feeling 100% yesterday so the party (at home) was cancelled. Good thing we didn’t reserve anything for that day.
