Not how I wanted to end the night.

I'd say good night, but my night isn't turning out how I'd hoped. I'm exhausted, and instead of unwinding... I'm doing a load of laundry so George has some clean pants for tomorrow as well as waiting for Chilly to get back in the house. I was so tired I almost set off our security alarm, too. I'd armed the house expecting to unwind and assuming I'd bypassed the garage door I opened it. Yep, appparently not....
At least I can relax once I start the dryer. I can pull out a pair of pants come morning.

@popciclecold I find that going online to vent does help. I don't mind much. This seems to be a good place to do so.

I did , thank you. At least the washer only takes about an hour. Once I put the clothes in the dryer I was good to go.

I only had to be awake an hour longer than I wanted. However, it worked out. I slept pretty soundly after I put the clothes in the dryer. Now, I'm free to run the dish washer when I'm ready.

I have nights like that, we don't have any alarms to set off
but there's times when I can't go to sleep I just get on the
computer & chat with who ever is on here or do my journal.

One of the first things we did, when buying our house, was look into whole home security. It's been a life saver so far.
