Tomorrow is my Day Off!

I have cooked supper 3 nights in a row now, so I told Tom tonight that I was taking tomorrow off. He asked if I would like to go out to the AmVets and have lunch there. He must have been reading my mind again. Of COURSE I want to go to the AmVets and have a good homemade hamburger and fries. I have missed going there, as Tom's work cut his days down during the winter months. But Spring Break starts this week, so they will be adding days to his schedule. Love going there to eat, and to play the PullTabs! I put in $30 one day and got 60 pulltabs and won $250.

Hubby cooks most the time but I cooked tonight
something I know I shouldn't have ate but I did
a hamburger helper dinner & it was really good.
Then I just got done washing the dish's so we
won't have any tomorrow to wash cause we're
going to eat out somewhere while we're out.

Actually,i prefer to eat outside rather than cook myself,however,in view of cost,i cook meals on weekend.Chinese dish take too much time and energy.Fast food is more convenient.

That's awesome! It sounds well deserved after cooking supper for three nights in a row. Enjoy your AmVets lunch date with Tom, those homemade hamburgers sound delicious. It's great that Tom's work schedule is picking up again with Spring Break coming around.
I bet you're looking forward to catching up at the AmVets, and who knows, maybe you'll have another lucky pull-tab session!

I said homemade burgers, but I guess I should say hand Patted burgers. No frozen patty or ready made patty, the lady pats out the patties. LOL and seasons them. A nice hamburger with all the fixins, French Fries, and a drink for $7. Can't beat that. Love going to AmVets..good food, and good company,

I hope you have just as much luck this time. My husband cooks mostly but he hasn't been so well lately so I'm cooking again for the moment.
