Potatoes and baths

There are things I sometimes read that surprise me Shampoo, soap, shower gel, everything you need to take a shower. Right? Wrong. The truth is, next time you go, take a potato. Don't worry, it's not for personal hygiene, but the truth is that it will make a difference in cleaning. Potatoes help to get rid of limescale stains on shower doors, without using any type of chemical products. We just have to cut the potato and rub it on the shower surface and then clean it with warm water. Looks like we should do this as soon as we finish showering. I confess that I haven't tried it yet but either I'm distracted and everyone already knew this except me or it's new to everyone. Did you know this trick?

No, I didn't know you could use potatoes to clean your bathtub. Interesting.

Isn't it? A natural thing that, if it works, will help us to get ride of many chemicals that are in cleaning products.

I wasn't aware of that. I don't like to waste food, and have lots of bathroom cleaners here, so I will stick to that.

I also use bathroom cleaners but some stains are difficult to remove.

I have seen videos on YouTube, I tried to clean pots and pans and it worked. I am soon going to try for the bathroom.

@nela13 I have no idea, for the pots and pans you add salt and baking soda, so it makes sense that it works.

I have heard of this before. I think it's supposed to be good for windscreens too.
