A day full of surprises.

Today is Sunday and also race season. George had mentioned to me about the races so I found them for him. I decided to take advantage, and took a bath and washed my hair. Normally I wait until George goes to bed to do things like that, but I knew he'd be glued to the t.v. for about four hours. During that time he came to visit me in the bathroom, and let me get my hair washed. Later, a few hours ago, not even, when it came time for me to get him something to eat to take his nighttime pill, he actually asked me to do his final tube feed for the night. I didn't quite get what he was saying (he kept saying chicken) but he had his tube out and ready for me. His tube was being tricky, but pushing his food through with a plunger seemed to help push his formula through, a trick you can use if you think a tube might be getting clogged. And, it helped. His tube flushed real well after. He also seems to be staying up and going to bed about the time he used to before the stroke.
