Haley Will Be Gone After Tomorrow

Nikki Haley is holding on and touting her Washington D.C. victory, even though in the grander scheme, and according to history, Washington D.C.'s primary means nothing. And voter turnout was almost nonexistent by most standards. She scored 19 delegates, but it won't matter. She can claim "momentum," but at the same time the big event, Super Tuesday, is tomorrow March 5th, and former president Donald Trump is expected to win all 15 states that will cast their ballots and the territories. There is no road ahead for Haley after tomorrow, and I suspect she'll finally get the memo and duck out. It will be interesting to see how she proceeds. She's continued to bash Trump as well as Biden, so who does she cast her support for? She's been saying some pretty awful things about Trump, so it would seem an odd turnaround for her to endorse him. She can't endorse Biden. So, maybe she just endorses no one and says, "Good luck?"

Hard to say. Guess we'll find out in November when the reall deal goes down.

@porwest That's kind of sad, but not surprising. America hates change.

@kaylachan The problem is that Trump did a good job and people remember it. Biden has made it a STARK reminder, and so, the American people are willing to give Trump the 2nd chance he deserved in 2020.

I think she's done after today. I mean, there's no way she can seal any nomination without Super Tuesday offering some wins. She is expected to win not a single state.

I will be surprised if she suspends the campaign tomorrow night or on Wednesday. I think she is waiting to be the stand-in candidate if Trump has a health issue or if his legal troubles get worse. I've also read that she might go for a 3rd party candidacy. Aside from Larry Hogan Nikki Haley is someone I could hold my nose and deal with as president.

She is fighting a losing battle and she's lost her funding, especially the bulk of which came from the Koch family who pulled it. I admire her tenacity, but she's not only losing, she's making it harder for people to take her seriously in 2028. She's becoming a meme, and not in a good way.

@xander6464 You can't be serious. Trump is winning by record numbers in primaries. Do you just pull your thoughts out of a raffle basket?

She played a very important role. This isn't about 2028, it's about 2024 and doing everything possible to ensure that Trump does not win. I know it sounds absurd but he needs only a very tiny minority in a few states because we are still chained to the Electoral College. That means every effort to stop Trump counts @xander6464 We're chained to the electoral college because states aren't all the same size and we don't want the same three large states to have more power to elect people than the rest of them. Duh. But I digress. Nikki Haley will be back on the trail in 2028, so it DOES matter, and people might remember how foolish she was in 2024, which could hurt her chances. And she's not an AWFUL candidate, so that would be a shame.

I sure hope she goes away and I keep hoping someone worthy of being President shows up. I keep searching the skies for Superman, Batman, or Spiderman Where are the heroes when you need them?

It's between Biden and Trump. There will be no other choice. And it can't be Biden, so Trump gets my vote.

Hopefully Nikki Haley will drop out of the Presidential race after Super Tuesday since some of her supporter who donate money to her campaign have decided not to support her anymore.

Yep. She will soon run out of money. I am amazed she is still even in the race. I think she has to know it's long been over for her. Time to jump out and focus on 2028.
