I'm back with another cheap-a$$ meal.
We had to run to pick up another med that the pharmacy was waiting on and decided to hit up Dollar Tree ( @porwest ) to pick up some sleep meds on the way home.
We had a pretty big lunch, well for us anyway. So neither one of us was very hungry so we decided to grab some "snack-y" things while we were there.
Which ended up being our dinner. Because that's just how we roll.
We each got a Fast Bites Cheeseburger $1.25 ea, or $2.50 total
We got a thing of Original Pringles to share $1.25
A 1.25 liter of Coke for $1.75
Ketchup for $1.25 and used about $0.10 of it.
So for $5.60 before tax, and right at six-ish total we got dinner.
I know it's not super healthy, but we are in a season of life when we can't afford a whole lot of super healthy.
Plus we're fed and happy. So that's all that matters.

They just changed that price down here. It was when they decided to extend a lot of the dollar tree's and add the dollar plus sections.

@thislittlepennyearns I hate that they have had to resort to that. It changes the entire personality of their concept.

That was certainly an economical meal. It's surprising sometimes how you can get for your buck.
