What I Ate Today - 3/7/2024

Hello again everyone, how are you all doing?
It's been a long day here, so I am going to probably go get some sleep soon. I could stay up since I don't have to be up early...but I want to get some extra sleep in.
I wanted to share my numbers and food before I sign off for the night.
Weigh in -
Starting (3/4) - 216.4
Yesterday - 211
Today - 209.4
As you can see I have lost 7 pounds since Monday. I know a lot of it is water weight, but it's a good start either way.
Blood sugars - fasting in the 120s I think. The rest of the day they stayed around there. After my last meal it went up to 146 and now it is down to 142. I did have a few more carbs than usual but still was pretty low carb.
Let's just see what I had:
Meal 1 - 3 oz grilled chicken strips (cooked in butter), 1 small bag of protein chips
Meal 2 - Chicken patty (this is where the carbs were), a little shredded cheese.
I also ate like 2 pringles, literally.
Meal 3 - 2 servings of deli turkey, and another small bag of protein chips.
Macros for everything:
Calories - 936
Protein - 91
Fat - 49
Carbs - 31
Fiber - 2
Once again my calories were pretty low, I am just not as hungry when I eat this way.
I did great on the protein though, I think. If I ate a little more fat the calories would definitely go up. Carbs were only about 10 more than I would like (well as close to zero is preferred).
I am trying to think of things I need to get on Saturday when I go shopping. I want to get some liver, and some egg white wraps, but not sure what else. I am going to use those wraps to make some enchiladas. I'd just use "Keto tortillas" but they still have wheat.
What do you think of the day of eating? The shopping list? Anything you'd like to ask?

@RebeccasFarm well I've lost 8 pounds so far...still got 100+ to go though.
Blood sugars should be 80 to 100. Mine was up to the 140s yesterday. Although for months they were 200+ when I was eating carbs

@just4him 5 bags? Oh wow! I will buy one or two. I've been having salmon or tuna mostly at my mom's

I actually giggled when you said you ate 2 Pringles. If I let myself do it I could probably eat a whole can of the stuff. lol
For dinner I had Bremer Salisbury steaks with mac and cheese on the side and we finished up the last of the cucumber salad we had.

Well was just being honest. I would eat the whole thing too normally lol.
Sounds pretty good minus the salad. And depending what was on the steaks. I had sirloin steak today...so good
