No Vouchers

Back in October I wrote about some spoiled ham lunch meat I got at Ruler Foods, a Kroger company, and wrote to the main customer service about it. We exchanged emails back and forth a few times and I sent pictures and some other package information, and they wrote back to tell me they would send me some vouchers to replace the ham.
It dawned on me today as I was going through some old posts that I never actually ever received the vouchers.
So, I found the last email and responded back to them to ask how long it takes to get the vouchers and to let them know I never got them. I will see if they respond. It is possible they just overlooked it.
Or they just figured I'd forget about it and move on. Fat chance on the latter.

Yeah. I think you're right. About forgetting about it and moving on. In a way you kind of did, until recently reminded. It'll be interesting to see how they respond (if they do)

@porwest Well, let's hope they remain good on their word, then.

You are right that the Ruler Foods management did not count that you would just go away not to receive your voucher.

They probably thought you would forget about it. Hope they send them to you now that you send them a reminder.

@Happy2BeMe Thank you. He's doing much better. He's been home since the 4th and seems to be doing better every day.

IF they don't respond in a reasonable amount of time, send them another email telling them that you are taking the matter up with your attorney. I was getting 10 or 12 telemarketing calls a day until I joined the do not call list, they kept calling anyway. Then when I told the people that they would soon hear from my attorney I suddenly stopped getting them. It works the other way too. They can't afford to be turned into the FDA and an attorney about spoiled food...especially the FDA. They have to go through tons of inspections and something like selling spoiled food could shut them down. Print out the email thread so you have it handy to present to the necessary agencies in case the store chain decides to shine you on.

I will definitely let them know my thoughts, and I also do not have any trouble boycotting them for a period of time and will let them know I will be doing it. And of course, I will use my platforms to put them out there as well.
I don't want to be too hard on them. I own stock in the company. But I also can't just let them slide. They said they would fix the problem and make me whole, and I expect them to do it.

Good to let them know you never received the vouchers, and see how they respond. If their customer service is good, they should send you some.

I would have taken it back no matter what the trip cost
cause they don't like giving things away.
