Got some groceries... / myLot

I got home before the rain, and I kept my bill under $100, which was the plan, as I don't have money on my EBT balance at the moment. I got was bread, peanut butter & jelly, and snacks to put in my lunch when I go to the Department of Rehabilitation training next week. The papers said something about my getting one 15-minute break and an hour lunch break or something like that. So, that's done. Speaking of lunch, it's only about 5 minutes 'til noon according to my computer clock, so I'll get something to eat for lunch today in a bit. Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

It's so hard to buy groceries right now. Even just basics are expensive. I have always cooked our foods, but now it seems as if I am in the kitchen more than ever. All we can do is the best we can do. I do love peanut butter. My favorite way to eat it is to have a little on toast. Yum!

Eh...mostly getting it over with, as I have to get up early and have no idea what I'll really be doing...So thankful it will only last a week.

We have a Grocery Outlet downtown. It's further to go, but I plan on shopping there, more. If I remember right, there's a Dollar Tree or Family Dollar or something like that in the same shopping center.
