Sherbet seems colder than ice cream

At least in my mind it does. We have a big party pail of rainbow sherbet we are enjoying. The fruity flavors are so fresh and light. It makes me tink of summer.

It was very good. I probably should not have had it at bed time.

Sherbets and sorbets feel colder in the mouth because of the lack of fat, but also because they have a high sugar content than ice cream, which makes the mixture both freeze and melt at lower temperatures.

@wolfgirl569 Cup of hot coffee or chocolate would help that.

Yeah it is. My boyfriend had gotten some nasty red, blue, and white sherbet. I think it mainly was nasty because there were bad ingredients.

I have never seen one like that. I have seen "birthday cake" or "Superman" ice cream. I think that is pink, blue, and yellow but not impressive in anyway. Just sweet and sticky.
