What's for lunch?

Just got finished with a delicious tuna salad. I used that veganaise I was talking about last week. I thought it was really pretty tasty. Maybe not as good as regular mayo but this has no cholesterol so it is a win, win. What is floating your lunchtime boat, or what will you or did you have?

Very easy lunch today, I made hamburger patties with zucchini and a lettuce and tomato salad. The chicken is in the oven for the dinner right now and it smells good.

That sounds tasty and low calorie. I ate the tuna salad on lettuce, well actually a mixed salad so it was healthy.

We usually have a very light lunch and a more substantial dinner but we're swapping today. We have movies tonight and Vince might be late back from an errand so we'll have our main meal in the middle of the day. We might need a nap afterwards.

Thanks, it wasn't bad. Look who's being good! You really kept the calories down with that lunch! Mine was good caloricially too except for the mayo sub in it. I did eat almost the whole can of tuna..but I don't think the whole thing has that many calories in it. It was 191 for the can.

@just4him Why so much? Were you that hungry? Maybe if you eating a small piece of fruit or have a salad with just a bit of dressing you will be less hungry at mealtime, or have a bit of broth beforehand.

@snowy22315 Actually, as good as it was nutritionally, it was over a thousand calories. I ate the full filet, three servings. I still held my own on the scale this morning. I usually do with salmon.

I had lunch out at a restaurant. They had something called Greek pork which was a thing with pork meat, peppers and a lot of cheese. It was good but a little too fat cheese and heavy so I couldn't finish it all. I hope I will remember next time to order something with less calories

Since I am taking Ozembic anything that is loaded with fat I can't eat much of at once. I have to break it into smaller portions if I want to.
