George said he wants to take a shower. / myLot

I am not sure how I feel. He hasn't really showered since he's been home. He tried once, about two weeks after he got home, but that was a month ago now. So I'm not sure what to think. I'll be happy no matter what he decides, though. It makes me feel good to hear him say it. He's getting much better. Sure, that'll mean another bunch of tape. Another drain sponage. But, I'm happy.

He is just wanting to get back to more normal. It's a good sign. Let him have his shower, and of course you can be near to help him if he needs it.

Yeah. I haven't pushed him to take one, he's been doing okay. His skin really isn't breaking down or anything. There's a little mess on his beered, that needs cleaning, but nothing a trim can't fix.
