A male dog that had a box over his head now has a new home in Alabama

I am wondering how a male Cane Corso dog named Bear had a box stuck on his head for several months wandering in the streets of Mobile Alabama when officials with the Mobile Animal Services and the Mobile County Animal Shelter were able to capture Bear on Wednesday February 21. Bear who somehow survived having a box over his head for nearly a year according to Bear's owner Martin Miller is amazing. Bear and his new owner are now happy together at home in Mobile Alabama. That's a long time to have a box on his head. Sad no one cared enough to get it off him in all that time. I'm glad it's off now, and he has a new home.

That is what I am trying to find out why no one cared enough to get the box out of Bear's head.

So many questions, first and foremost why did it take a year for someone to help this poor dog. Glad that Bear has a loving home now.

I wonder how he ate, drank water and slept. That owner wasn't in his right mind! Leaving that box on Bear's head, for almost a year! He should be prosecuted for animal abuse:(
