I’m having lunch and going to the bank to get a new debit card (the imbeciles at the post office lost/misdelievered/swiped my updated one that was mailed this week…and of course they don’t care) before heading to Lexington. I’m waiting for the soap opera to end in my neighborhood so I can write about that, too. Meanwhile, let’s get to living with another song that has “live” in the title. Here’s today’s song. Living in Paradise - Elvis Costello Sigh. Elvis Costello makes me think of our late, great myLotter Fredo. Not that he liked him, but he was a big fan of Costello’s wife, jazz singer Diane Krall. We love and miss ya, Fredo. Of course, I was an Elvis Costello fan before the internet and myLot…and that wife. His incredibly crafty lyrics (note the line in this song about guys not being very good at sex) were a major bonus. And, although Elvis got labeled in the “punk” movement, this is hardly a punk song.
