16 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Did you hear the news? @LindaOH was letting everyone know spring is three days away. Will Old man winter get his act together and give us winter weather in the next three days or will he make a mess of spring. You know what I'm hoping for - Spring Blizzards. It's only fair. Spring has had her way all winter long. I need more than one week of winter. Good afternoon from warm, windy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA, where the current temperature is a mild 49 F. We had sunshine this morning, but as predicted, the clouds have moved in. No rain or snow in sight though. Not until next week. Today was a good day. I always have something to be thankful for even when the weather doesn't cooperate. I'm thankful I have the laundry done. I had it in the washer by 3 AM and put away by 5 AM. I'm thankful I ran the dishwasher while the clothes were in the washer. The dishes were done before I had breakfast this morning. I'm thankful for the time I spent with you today. It's always good to share a cuppa with you and find out what your day is like in your part of the world. I'm thankful for the work I did on New Horizons. I added some text, but other than that, it's mostly reading. Minor editing. I'm thankful for the walk I did through the building. I have my steps. I didn't know if I would walk or just use the foot cycle. Both. I'm thankful for leftovers. I had a little more of the salmon filet I made yesterday, along with a serving of rice and I made green bean casserole without the onions on top. I made it in the microwave. It turned out good. It looks like I'll have leftovers unless I finish it today. We'll see. Okay, that's how my day was. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
