I "met" Clint Eastwood many decades ago when he was a dirty young cowboy in spaguetti westerns.
I loved him and I loved the movies. I remember even the cinema where we saw them with my husband, just married, ages ago.
He changed from action movies to something else. He has aged well and he is directing many awesome films in which he also acts.
Now, on TV. they have Grand Torino. I have watched it many times but I´m happily watching it again. It is of love and learning that people from different races can be a lot closer to a person than people who share your blood.
I, who have been blessed with an adopted family, perfectly understand this.
Some months ago, I gave Dixie´s artist girl a painting made by one of our most reknowned artists. My family is not interested in any of the paintings I have. They are not even interested in spending some time selling them although they are quite valuable in art galleries.
I recommend this picture to everyone here. It was made on 2008 but it has not aged a bit.

There are movies that tou never get tired of. And although I have watched many times Casablanca, there´s not a single time that I don´t cry when La Marsellaise is sung.

@marguicha I cry every time that I watch Casablanca when La Marseillaise is sung and the girl says "Vive la France".

@LadyDuck La Marsellaise is beautiful. But that part in that context is even more.

Clint Eastwood is a great actor and director. When I first saw him almost 60 years ago, I liked him because he was attractive. I never thought he would turn into such a great one. I felt the same with Shawn Connery. He was much more than his first James Bond characters.

My family does not want anything from me. Tania has a house so small that she can´t have anything else. And she has never had the same taste for things I do. I already gave her pots and skillets. That´s all she needed. And Claudia does not want anything from me "just bacause". I won´t push. So I´ll give my things to my adopted family.

Thank you for the review and critique. I don't remember if I've seen the movie or not. Have a good day.
