A resident of Chicago Illinois who for reasons of wanting her privacy played the Lucky Day Lotto ticket using the birthday dates of her children which matched five numbers of the lotto ticket on Wednesday March 6.
The resident is being called by Illinois Lottey officials the name "Lucky Mom" won the grand prize of $1.4 million dollars before taxes will be taken out of her gross winnings.
The lucky lottery winner is keeping a low profile on how she intends to spend her winnings since she wants her privacy in which I do not blame her at all.

I am in agreement with you that lottery winners should no have to show their face and name when they win a lottery since they will have strangers asking them for money claiming to be a long distant relative.

@Deepizzaguy I see all sorts of scary problems with being forced to go public with a major win.

That is true since the lucky mom can use her lottery winnings to assist her relatives.
